serena was mad because blair kissed dan who was not her boyfriend and hadn’t been for a long time. remember when serena had SEX with blair’s boyfriend nate? if anyone has ruined their friendship it’s serena, or both of them. dan has nothing to do with it. blair was partly repressing her feelings for dan because she didn’t want to hurt serena, but sometimes like in 5x15 she got swept in her feelings and in the moment, and they kissed. 

serena and blair’s friendship has a shit ton of problems, but dan is not the reason for “ruining” anything. serena has already said she’s not going to get in the way of dan and blair, she’s going to try and be okay with it. blair said she wouldn’t see dan for serena’s sake but serena gave her blessing.

if serena and blair have issues they’re their own issues, don’t blame dan for the fact that their friendship is pretty much fucked and has been since s1. they have really deep issues of insecurity regarding each other. if anything blair being with dan is going to force them to deal with those issues and maybe it’ll make their friendship stronger.

but blaming dan is just ridiculous, come on now.
